ABOUT DOUBLE MOUNTAIN PRESERVE Our land has been in our family for many years. And our friends and families have enjoyed hunting and fishing the beautiful and rich property which is blessed with abundant wild life. Compelled to share our hidden secret, in 2014, we decided to open to the public and we named it Double Mountain Preserve because of its location in Pelham, Alabama in the Double Oak Mountain area. Double Mountain Preserve is the premier hunting destination in the Southeast. Over the years we’ve carefully managed over 3,500 acres, consisting of two pristine hunting preserves, to ensure we give every hunter the best opportunity to meet his or her desire. We are thirty minutes from Birmingham Alabama’s International Airport (BHM), making Double Mountain a fantastic destination hunt. Whether a single hunter or a corporate gathering, come experience southern service at its finest and the hunt of your life. We are constantly growing in order to be the best place for local and traveling outdoor lovers to enjoy everything nature has to offer. Our barn is complete and ready, our new lodge is currently under construction, we have a small cabin with full kitchen and living area that sleeps 2 to 4 to provide a convenient place for traveling hunters to stay right on the property. We are so close to Birmingham, most people are pleasantly surprised and happy when they find us. Not only do we offer both 1,000 acres for high-fence hunting and 2,500 acres of fair chase plus multiple green fields totaling 120 acres, but we also have a well stocked catfish pond and a 50 acre bass fishing lake.
